Geis makes his debut, Wright plays the full 90

A debut for Geis

Johannes Geis made his first appearance in La Liga on the weekend. The midfielder was substituted on in the final stages of Sevilla’s home victory over SD Eibar, with the score standing at 2-0. A few moments later, Nolito put the result beyond all doubt after he scored to make it 3-0.

Tekpetey comes on in win

Bernard Tekpetey came on in the 68th minute of SCR Altach’s 2-1 victory over SKN St. Poelten. It was the Ghanaian’s second appearance for the Austrian club, who are languishing in mid-table in the Austrian Bundesliga after seven games.

Höwedes stays on the bench

Juventus kept a clean sheet in their game, and with it held their position at the top of the Serie A. However, Benedikt Höwedes had to look on from the bench as his team won convincingly against Chievo Verona 3-0.

Hemmerich not in squad due to lack of fitness

Luke Hemmerich was not in VfL Bochum’s squad in their 3-2 victory over SV Darmstadt 98. The youngster was nursing a foot injury, but should be able to rejoin full training activities in the near future.

Wright plays the full 90 minutes

Haji Wright and SV Sandhausen managed to earn a point in Braunschweig. The 19-year-old was in the starting eleven at the Eintracht-Stadion, and played the full game for the first time in his three appearances for the Baden-Württemberg side.
